Functional Description |
The Acquisition Directorate (AD), formerly known as the Acquisition & Procurement Office, is a Directorate within Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), a Department of Defense field activity. AD plans, coordinates, and manages the procurement programs essential to the mission of WHS, ODA&M, and OSD. The program encompasses Pentagon Renovation, construction, professional and other services, commodities and supplies, major communication and information technology systems, and special programs totaling over $900 million a year. |
