| Mobile District's civil works boundaries cover parts of four states -- Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Florida. Over 96,000 square miles, several of the South's major river basins and 340 miles of the intracoastal waterway are included in our civil works area of operation. Our military boundaries cover over 252,200 square miles. Stretching 3,800 miles north to south, the District supports the Army, Air Force, NASA and other Federal Agencies in Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida and Central and South America. |
