Functional Description |
The Ogden Air Logistics Center provides worldwide logistics support for the entire Air Force inventory of intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM), as well as the F-4 and F-16 aircraft. In addition, Hill manages the Maverick air-to-ground missile, the GBU-15 and laser-guided bombs (Paveway I, II, III and Enhanced), the Emergency Rocket Communications Systems, and tanks/pylons for the entire USAF aircraft inventory. Ogden is the logistics manager for all air munitions, solid propellants, and explosive devices used throughout the Air Force, US Navy, and Foreign Military Sales. All varieties of munitions, propellants, and explosive components (except nuclear) are tested at a range 48 miles west of the base. |
