| The 36th Contracting Squadron's 38 military and civilian members' main responsibilities are to provide Andersen Air Force Base with comprehensive acquisition support through the issuance of construction, service and supply contracts valued in excess of $52 million annually. In addition to the 36th Wing, the unit plans and executes contracting action on behalf of Air Mobility Command, Air Force Space Command, U.S. Navy, DoDEA schools and the Defense Commissary Agency. The squadron oversees Air Force purchasing activities in Singapore and Diego Garcia, supports contingencies worldwide as well as 13th AF exercises in Thailand, Cambodia, the Philippines and Australia. |
